What Defines Us?
We generate collaborative relational ecosystems where urban, suburban, and rural entrepreneurs build interdependent relationships, refresh their knowledge in business, create generational wealth, and discover opportunities to bring health and vitality to their communities.
OUR STORY
It began as a small gathering of entrepreneurs, artists, and neighborhood residents within Flint, MI asking key questions.
What do you love about Flint?
What do you dream of for the future of our city?
How could the prosperity of your family flow into the collective well-being of our city?
We love Flint, and we knew we needed each other. We gathered to dream, form heart-bonds, support one another, and seek the well-being of our historic city of Flint, MI. The seed of these early gatherings grew into a relational network of community members addressing local challenges through the avenue of economic development. As the renaissance of Flint unfolds, civic, economic, and religious leaders from around the U.S. have looked to our story as an example for pioneering city-wide entrepreneurial incubation in new locations.
Doxa connects community leaders with the isolated, under-served, and disconnected in order to form micro-communities of entrepreneurs leading in the marketplace. These micro-communities provide a reproducible supportive network that aids in the ecosystemic development of each individual.
Single mothers, homeschool families, teachers, police officers, returning citizens, food businesses, and social entrepreneurs—all citizens of a collective social ecosystem—come together to learn from each other, bear each other’s burdens, and grow as members of the same entrepreneurial community.
